More Miss Marc!

As promised, I'm back with some more Miss Marc by Marc Jacobs. Here are a few accessories I thought were worth sharing.
Happy looking!

Stylish umbrellas can perk up the rainiest and gloomiest of days, and they don't come much more stylish than this. I wouldn't mind adding this to my collection, even though I always forget to take mine along whenever I really need it!

This pretty watch is one way to keep time in style. It also comes in black, but I personally think it's more appealing in white.

Here's a timepiece that looks good in black. It's simple, but is sure to be noticed on your wrist!

Don one or more of these bold bangles to give some edge to your outfit!

This is a fancier bracelet, and comes with a variety of Miss Marc charms for you to choose from.

Miss Marc can also be worn around your neck, so you can have her with you where ever you go.

And here are some studs and a ring to match!

There's no shortage of Miss Marc footwear out there. You can find all sorts of Miss Marc shoes in all sorts of colors, but I liked these because they're bright and trendy without being garish or too difficult to match.

These are one of my favorites and I sure wouldn't mind adding them to my shoe collection. They're probably not going to go with every outfit though, but they look too cute to let go just because of that. What do you think?

With summer on the way, how can flip flops be far behind? Keep your feet cool and comfortable in these.

I know I showed you a few totes last time, but this was just too quirky and fun to leave out! It also comes in baby blue, and looks just as good.

Last but not least, here are two totes Marc Jacobs came up with to celebrate the spirit and meaning of Earth Day.
Hope you enjoyed this post! More later then,
xx

Marc by Marc Jacobs - Miss Marc - It's time for totes!

Marc Jacobs has given his line Marc by Marc Jacobs a very whimsical twist by featuring the character of a young girl on the line's "Miss Marc" products.
Miss Marc is a strange little girl, and is seen on most Miss Marc items in various moods. She's not much of a looker, but when she's in a good mood, she can be endearing, I'll give her that much.
When she's unhappy though, she can be quite the moody, sulky little thing.
Miss Marc graces a whole range of Marc by Marc Jacob products. She's on everything from bags, to totes, to pouches, and that's not all. She can also be found on bracelets, rings, necklaces, foot wear, and even clothing like swim wear and T-shirts.
Miss Marc is particularly popular with Marc by Marc Jacobs tote lovers. She's on a variety of large size totes, giving an otherwise plain tote a fun edge.
Have a look at a few pieces below.

This Miss Marc tote is from Marc by Marc Jacobs Mabel Glazed Canvas Tote collection. It retails for around 190 US. I think Miss Marc looks good in monochrome.

And here's a coin purse to match. I think this one is absolutely adorable.

Another cute Miss Marc item. This pouch retails for 68 US.

Here she is on a Miss Marc hobo bag.

Here she is looking sullen.

And here she is looking downright scary. This is probably what someone looks like after they've seen a ghost, or a very grizzly crime scene. It is probably a better choice for those bag lovers who aren't very easy to creep out.

This Miss Marc beach tote comes with a Miss Marc towel, hat, and also includes a pair of rubber flip flops. The hat is reversible, so it's like having two beach hats in one. This one retails for around 346 US, but at least you're getting more than just a tote when you buy it.

In my next post, I'll cover a few Miss Marc accessories.
Till then, enjoy these!

Ready, Set, Race!

The 15th year of the Dubai World Cup took place in the newly unveiled race course in Dubai called "Meydan", last Saturday.
The race course, the only one of its kind in the world, is earning rave reviews from everyone who's seen it, and everyone who attended Saturday's 10 million dollar race.
Meydan is the most expensive horse racing facility in the world, and is estimated to have cost $2 billion US.
The facility also boasts a 290 bedroom five star hotel, including an IMAX cinema inside. Meydan's huge car park is an expression of art in itself, fashioned in the shape of a falcon.
Meydan's official opening ceremony, as well as all the entertainment between races, was said to be absolutely spectacular.
The Dubai World Cup is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and people come out for more reasons than just the obvious ones.
The fashion for one, is always top notch at these events. Everyone dons their finest, and often the head gear worn by the women attending generates a lot of interest.
This year, 500 fashionistas, twice as many as last year, took part in the "Style Stakes" contest, where a panel of judges decides who deserves to win the title of "Best Dressed Lady", and "Best Dressed Couple".
Apart from getting to boast their titles, the winners also get prizes like a Range Rover on lease for a year, gorgeous jewelery, a weekend getaway and a desert safari, as well as a spa treatment.
The competition is tough, so victory is probably all the more sweet.
